1st & 2nd Generation Survivors

This relatively new feature aims at helping the touring railfan find surviving First and Second Generation diesels, especially as the ranks of active units shrink in numbers. The lists are comprehensive and include some units that are still in revenue freight service, tourist line attractions, static displays in museums, railway park "tombstones", and yes even an occasional scrapyard candidate.

If you have a favorite model/builder, etc. that you would like to see featured in the future, please let us know. Conversely, if you've already produced a list and are interested in sharing it with others, it would be good to hear from you. Of course, proper credit for the work will be given. Corrections and additions to these listings are always appreciated. Thank you!
